The Gantt chart for Jira that keeps its dates.
Drag a bar and it saves. Every bar matches the issue it came from. A 500-issue project opens in under two seconds — not thirty.
Free for teams of 10 or fewer. No credit card, no sales call.
Why another Gantt app
We read the one-star reviews of every Gantt app in the Marketplace — more than four thousand of them — and built the opposite.
It saves when you drop
No Save button, no lost afternoon. Every change is one undo step, even when five issues moved together.
“Easy to waste a lot of time if you don't hit save all the time.”
The dates are Jira's dates
Start and end dates are read from and written to real issue fields. The chart can't disagree with the issue.
“Separate Start and End date which does not sync with the built-in dates.”
It opens instantly
Only the rows on screen are drawn. Zoom from a week to a year without waiting for a redraw.
“Really slow to open.”
What it does
- Drag to reschedule. Dependents move with it, previewed in amber before anything is written.
- Resize to change duration. The end date updates in the issue, in working days.
- Dependencies from issue links. “Blocks” and “is blocked by” become arrows. No second set of links to maintain.
- Baselines. Snapshot the plan, then see what moved against it.
- Undo and redo. A five-issue cascade is one Ctrl+Z.
- Permissions respected. Issue-level security and project permissions apply to reading and writing.
Built on Forge. The app runs on Atlassian's own infrastructure. No third-party server, no data processor to review, no data leaving your tenant.

Questions
Is it really free under 10 users?
Yes — all features, no time limit. We would rather you install it and tell us what is missing than put a trial clock on a planning tool.
Which Jira plans does it work with?
Jira Cloud, Standard and Premium. If you are on Premium and already using Plans, TrueGantt adds baselines, faster rendering and permission-aware editing.
Where are the dates stored?
End dates use Jira's native Due date. Start dates use a date field you choose during setup, so they stay filterable in JQL. Details.
What if I have a circular dependency?
The app tells you exactly which issues form the loop and refuses to reschedule until it is fixed. It will not guess.
